National Centre for Infectious Disease (NCID) is a facility built to strengthen Singapore’s capabilities in infectious disease management and prevention. Fully operated since 2019, NCID’s key feature it its high-level isolation unit (HLIU). The unit treats high-risk pathogens including Ebola and Marbug viruses.
